‘Go Alfresco’ Racing Club

(4 Horses – 2012 Flat season)

The management team have put together 4 very exciting young horses (details enclosed), which are currently being ‘broken in’ and will race as 2 year olds, on the flat, next season. These horses are:

A bay colt by Byron, dam Balwarah. 

A bay filly by Diamond Green, dam Dancing Steps. ( This filly is in fact a half sister to Dance For Julie and Dance For Livvy who each won 3 races for our stable. )

A bay colt by Indesatchel, dam Day By Day.

A bay filly by Clodovil, dam Green Life.

Each yearling is E.B.F. Nominated and all except the Clodovil filly are also eligible for the £10,000 Racing Post Yearling Bonus Scheme.

The horses will be trained by a leading young trainer, Ben Haslam, based at Castle Hill Stables, Middleham, North Yorkshire. Middleham is regarded as the Newmarket of the North and renowned for its famous moor gallops and stunning Yorkshire Dales scenery.

The proposal is that members, initially, participate for a single racing season (ie 2012) where they have the benefits of horse ownership with potential capital appreciation, owner’s access on race days and share of prize money – the team are dedicated to both the serious business of winning races and also making race days a great day out.

There are 20 shares in this 4 horse syndicate. The minimum cost for a single share is £5,000 + VAT (the VAT will, in due course, be refunded as an entitlement through the horse racing sponsorship scheme administered by Weatherbys).

Individuals can subscribe for any number of shares, subject to availability, up to 100% (ie total ownership).

The payment covers horse purchase and all training fees from now until the end of the 2012 season. At the end of the season there will be a distribution, back to the members, of both prize money and proceeds from the sale of the horses.
